eBay Listing Tool Privacy Policy

BuyingKnifeCollections operates a private eBay listing tool used solely by the owner of BuyingKnifeCollections to prepare, create, and manage eBay listings.

Information the Tool Processes

When the owner connects an eBay seller account, the tool may process information supplied through eBay’s authorized APIs, including:

  • eBay account identifiers
  • OAuth authorization and refresh tokens
  • Business-policy and shipping information
  • Listing information, item specifics, photographs, descriptions, prices, and category selections
  • eBay listing and offer identifiers

The tool does not receive or store the owner’s eBay password.

How Information Is Used

Information is used only to:

  • Connect the owner’s eBay seller account
  • Create and manage eBay listings
  • Retrieve applicable eBay business policies
  • Maintain the operation and security of the listing tool
  • Comply with eBay account-deletion and data-handling requirements

Information is not sold, rented, or used for third-party advertising.

Storage and Security

OAuth credentials and other sensitive information are stored using access controls and encryption where applicable. Access to the listing tool is restricted to the owner of BuyingKnifeCollections.

Data Sharing

Information is transmitted to eBay as necessary to create and manage listings. Information may also be processed by the hosting provider used to operate the private tool. Information is not otherwise shared except when required by law.

Data Retention and Deletion

Information is retained only as long as needed to operate the listing tool, manage listings, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Valid eBay marketplace-account-deletion notifications are processed in accordance with eBay’s requirements, and applicable eBay personal data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is legally required.

Authorization and Revocation

The owner may revoke the tool’s access through eBay’s third-party application settings. Revoking access prevents the tool from making additional authorized API requests.
